If you’ve been a reader of my blog for some time now, you may have noticed that I like to keep things pretty simple most of the time.
Not quite the same angle, but you get the idea.. Here’s the room closer to when we moved in:.And here’s now!.
It’s kind of amazing what you can do with what you already have around the house when you put a little thought into it..They say that paint and lighting are the most dramatic changes you can make to a room.By painting just the little sections of the walls, it really cut the time down.
Maybe an hour total for that portion of it including drying time between coats. When I. painted the lampshade.
, it completely changed the way the light was directed in that corner of the room and really changed the feel..
I brought together a bunch of the pieces from my blue and white collection to tie this area in with the rest of the room..Now wouldn’t that be a nice follow-up to the paintbrush hair salon we had going on earlier?.
So there we go, we’re all one step closer to paintbrush cleaning perfection. In a world where the brushes don’t yet clean themselves, my easy lazy method is a pretty good alternative..
Happy Painting!.This post contains affiliate links.Guess what, friends?
